Thermodynamic equilibrium analysis of the steam methane reforming process to synthesis gas was studied. For this purpose, system chemical reactions for carbon production and consumation as well other side reaction in were analysed. The material balance equations law mass action obtained various reactions. those solved by dichotomy method. investigation performed a wide range operational conditions such temperature, pressure, inlet steam-to-methane ratio. results obtained, with help developed algorithms, compared via different commercial open-source programs. All are excellent agreement. probable formation determined. It established that temperature above 1100 K probability is absent ratio units. presented algorithm thermodynamic gives an appearance dependence product composition amount required heat from operating pressure
